Air Filter Replacement
Your vehicle has two air filters: one is the engine air filter, and the other is the cabin air filter. The engine air filter is situated behind the radiator grille, and it filters dirt and other debris out of the air before it enters your engine. The cabin air filter removes dirt, pollen, and other contaminants before they enter your AC system.
These filters slowly clog up with dust and dirt and will need replacement. If the engine air filter is blocked, very little air will enter your engine. This unbalances the fuel-air mix in your engine and can lead to damaged spark plugs and ignition coils. A blocked cabin air filter will prevent airflow through your AC and can damage the compressor. We can easily replace either of these filters and prevent the problems above.
Tire Rotations
Regular tire rotations allow you to reduce wear and tear on your tires and postpone replacement. Your tires are subject to wear when you’re driving. Your tire position also contributes to wear, as each tire position creates a different wear pattern. Tire balance and alignment issues can cause additional damage to your tires.
When we rotate your tires, we move each tire to a different position depending on the drivetrain of your car. We’ll also correct the balance on each tire. Changing tire positions allows for more equalized wear across all your tires. This reduces the chances of a leak or blowout and extends the life of your tires.
Oil Changes
Oil is continuously pumped through your engine and helps to keep the components working smoothly. It provides essential lubrication for hundreds of moving parts and helps to prevent friction damage. The oil contains additives that prevent rust in your engine and break down potential engine-blocking deposits. Engine oil slowly degrades and loses many of these benefits as it ages.
Checking your oil is an essential part of car maintenance. We’ll examine the oil to identify any potential unseen engine problems. If all is well, we’ll drain the oil and refill it. We also check the seals to ensure they’re in good condition and there are no leaks. Finally, we check the condition of the oil filter and replace it with a new one.
