With five standard models and one coming in late spring of this year, the 2019 Jeep lineup has a little something for everyone. Packed with amazing off-road capability, tech features, stylish looks, power, and other amenities, these vehicles offer something you won’t find with many other automakers. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, here are a few of the options from America’s top SUV manufacturer.
2020 Jeep Gladiator
Alright, so it’s technically not a 2019 model, but the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is one of the most exciting vehicles to hit American roads in years. As Jeep’s first truck since 1992, the Gladiator has some huge shoes to fill and mounting expectations, but just one glance at it is enough to get most buyers amped about its late spring release date.
Designed to compete with the established light-duty trucks from other American brands, the Gladiator combines Jeep’s legendary off-road ability with a 5-foot bed for more versatility than ever. It also adds loads of class-exclusive features to entice buyers, such as removable doors, windows, and top; a best-in-class 7,650 pounds of towing capacity; a best-in-class 1,600 pounds of towing capacity; and the Uconnect infotainment system.
Available in four trims and eight colors, it offers the right amount of customization and brawn to tangle with the big boys.
2019 Jeep Wrangler
The all-new 2019 Jeep Wrangler ushers in the fourth generation of the iconic brand with comfort and convenience features mixed with the off-road excitement that only a Jeep Wrangler can provide. It also comes outfitted with a number of new features, including soft-touch cloth seating, the Uconnect infotainment system, and an available 8.4-inch touch-screen display.
While all these features build the Wrangler into a vehicle that appeals to a broader spectrum of buyers, performance enthusiasts will love the addition of a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo-four engine that’s good for 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. It’s easier on the wallet in terms of gas, yet it still has the ferocity of the legendary 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 that’s also available. Choose from five trims and eight colors to make the Wrangler your own.
When you add it all up, it’s no surprise the 2019 Jeep Wrangler was awarded the Motor Trend SUV of the Year Award.
2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Another hero in its own right, the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee brings off-road prowess with all the versatility and convenience of a midsize SUV. Available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive, this beast takes you where you need to go with speed, acceleration, and eye-catching aesthetics. Inside, the Grand Cherokee is blessed with many of the same tech features you’ll find in the Wrangler, but with seating for five passengers and 68.3 cubic feet of storage space, you can load the car up for vacation or a DIY project without a problem.
While these three models lead the way in 2019, the Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade provide even more depth to Jeep’s fleet. The good news is that no matter which one you choose, you won’t leave disappointed.
