The Mountain HomePlace is a living history museum located at 445 Kentucky Route 2275, Staffordsville. Here, you can tour historic log homes, barns, and outbuildings preserved from the 1800s. The Welcome Center has a museum of Appalachian history and a gift shop with arts and crafts from the region. There is a re-enacted 1800s farm and a petting zoo that kids will love to explore.
