2019 Dodge Durango

If having a family means you need a bigger vehicle to carry more people and stuff, the 2019 Dodge Durango is an ideal comfortable and spacious SUV. Plus, with the Durango, you don’t have to give up your passion for driving thrills, as the three powerful engine options give you all the excitement of Dodge’s Challenger and Charger stablemates.

The Durango is available in SXT, GT, Citadel, R/T, and SRT trim levels, plus some variants. The choice of rear- or four-wheel drive and a range of interior and exterior packages enable you to configure your Durango to match your family needs and your style.

Exterior Design

With head-turning aerodynamic styling, the Durango SXT announces its presence with its bold front fascia, crosshair grille, and projector fog lights. It features 18-inch alloy wheels, color-keyed heated power mirrors, and the continuous ribbon of LED taillights. GT trim adds a performance fascia and grille, LED daytime running lights, and 20-inch wheels.

Stepping up to the luxurious Citadel gets you a bright grille, chrome mirrors with turn signals and memory, bright door handles and roof rails, chromed alloy wheels, and a power liftgate. The SRT has unique styling cues and badging, a performance hood, and black wheels.

Power and Performance

SXT, GT, and Citadel models are powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine producing 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The R/T features a 360 horsepower 5.7-liter V-8 delivering 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The SRT is the most powerful SUV in its class with its 6.4-liter V-8 pumping out 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is paired with all engines.

V-6 powered Durangos can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 8.1 seconds. The R/T can take you to 60 miles per hour in 6.2 seconds, while the track-bred SRT will get you there in just 4.4 seconds. When hauling is your priority, the V-6 has a payload of up to 1,460 pound and a maximum towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. R/T models can tow up to 7,400 pounds, while the SRT has a best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds.
